This listing is for a gau that is essentially "identical" to the one pictured. It was crafted by hand in Nepal using 92.5 sterling silver and displays the syllable Om. Om has been venerated since ancient times by Buddhists, Brahmins, and Hindus alike. The universe is said to have begun with this sound, and all the sounds of life are said to be contained within it. Om is thus considered "the breath of all life."
