  • The traditional Mandala Tibetan incense is a tube containing the Himalayan Incense sticks. The incense sticks themselves are wrapped in Nepalese handmade paper. This is an excellent high quality traditional blend containing numerous precious aromatic herbs from the Himalayan region.  This incense no longer comes in a bamboo tube.

    "This traditional mandala incense containing the Himalayan Incense Sticks, made according to an age old Tibetan Buddhist tradition with numerous precious aromatic herbs including Nagi, Jattamasi, Kapur, cloves, red and white sandalwood etc. This incense is made according to an age old Buddhist tradition to offer to all Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and guardian deities of the ten directions. It contains about one hundred precious aromatic herbs including gurgum, nagi, clove, white and red sandalwood, saffron and other excellent medicinal ingredients. It is prepared by hand with utmost care and devotion for the well being of all the sentient beings and accumulation of merit."

  • Natural herbs and spices are pressed together in a masala preparation and shaped into the Tibetan style sticks. This Tibetan incense is carefully packaged into a sturdy tube wrapped with blended Lotka bark and recycled paper. Lotka refers to a small woody plant of the Laurel family that grows at over 6000 feet in the Himalayas, and has been traditionally used in Nepal to make paper. Lotka paper is a renewable resource, and provides a source of income to paper crafting families and village communities.
