Lawudo Incense

  • Lawudo premium incense is made from a mixture of plants found in the high Himalayan mountains, and various other aromatic and medicinal plants with the principal scents being rhododendron and juniper. The principal medicinal effect is as a relaxant, but it is also a fortifier, as rhododendron is considered a heart stimulant.

This Tibetan incense is carefully packaged into a beautiful and sturdy reusable box made from blended Lotka bark and recycled paper. Lotka refers to a small woody plant of the Laurel family that grows at over 6000 feet in the Himalayas, and has been traditionally used in Nepal to make paper. Lotka paper is a renewable resource, and provides a source of income to paper crafting families and village communities.
