The ancient art of making incense is the traditional Masala method in which natural resins, flowers, spices, aromatic medicinal herbs are blended with the natural glue to create these non-stick incenses. This traditional incense revives this tradition with its exclusive masala fragrance. It contains 26 rare Himalayan herbs including Red Sandalwood, Ambergris, Cloves and other excellent medicinal ingredients. This incense has an unique compostion and benefit having a woody and cooling aroma. This incense is packed into the Nepali hand made rice paper. It contains 19 sticks. 22cm long. Each stick burns for approximately 2.5 hours. Hand made in Nepal."

  • Natural herbs and spices are pressed together in a masala preparation and shaped into the Tibetan style sticks. This Tibetan incense is carefully wrapped in blended Lotka bark and recycled paper. Lotka refers to a small woody plant of the Laurel family that grows at over 6000 feet in the Himalayas, and has been traditionally used in Nepal to make paper. Lotka paper is a renewable resource, and provides a source of income to paper crafting families and village communities.
